And we're done...

3 visits each, $500 dollars later, and we are done!

My daughter had to have 2 baby teeth pulled and a spacer put in. She also had one filling and several teeth sealed.

My son had 3 fillings and 3 teeth sealed.

Next... braces for him. That will cost us a pretty penny, but our ortho will take $100 a month until paid in full (no finance charges!).

I guess now it's MY turn (gulp - pain & money).

I was able to pay in installment for my son's braces but once the braces were coming off I had to pay the balance I owe in full. Your plan is a much better deal!

We didn't really go to the Dentist when we were kids... the result was I had to pay quite a lot of money myself when I was 17/18 to get a LOT of work of done... just to feel holes etc...

Cheaper on the parents though !! hehe

ABH - Same here. They never took us. I will pay now. It was a cycle, I never took the kids (shame on me)... always paid for the ins. though. So, I am starting, and I will committ.

Oh, I feel your pain. I had a tooth knocked out in the military (which was supposed to be taken care of while I was in, but didn't happen... long story), and now insurance will not cover it. This will lead to some heavy out-of-pocket expenses. I'm glad that your ortho doesn't charge interest, that is great!

I didn't go for 10 years (which flew by) while I was taking my 3 daughters every 6 months, braces on 2, etc. I was so dang lucky, no cavities, etc. Now I go every 6 months! The more you go the more comfortable it is in my humble opinion.
